  1. My brother wanted pfeffernuesse for Christmas but you can't go into a store here and buy them like you can where I'm from! So I went and bought the stuff to make them cuz i'm a good sister even though I don't like anise or licorice flavoring at all. Mixed them up and baked them today and they are so good! Way better than any I've ever eaten from the store. I told him he has to share! :) Thanks Chef mariajane for the recipe!
