I love this variation! It is a fun addition to bring to a seder for something a little different. I got this from my friend Dale who got it from a magazine article written by Joan Schwartz Michel

  1. Grind dates, pistachios, almonds and raisins in a chopper/blender into a paste.
  2. Add apple, orange, banana, pomegranate seeds and blend until ingredients are incorporated but still chunky.
  3. Gently stir in remaining ingredients.
