- 6 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups butter flavor shortening
- 3⁄4 cup hot water
directions
- Blend the flour and shortening together in a large bowl (hands work best).
- Slowly add the water while combining until you get desired texture. If you add too much water just sprinkle in a bit more flour.
- Divide into 4 balls and roll out on a floured surface.
- If you want a cooked pie crust bake on 400 for about 10 minutes.
