  • In a large bowl, mix ingredients in order given.Pour into unbaked 9 inch pie shell and bake 1 hour at 300°F May take a little longer. Test for doneness with a knife. It's done when knife comes out clean.

  1. I love recipes like this! If i had known how easy pecan pie was, I'd have started making them years ago! As much as I love pie, I'm very intimidated by making them. My mom & Grammy are amazing bakers... Anyway, while I'm mixing this up, I was thinking 'white sugar & dark karo or brown sugar & light karo...' LOL. I don't remember which way my family goes. Another thing to not, I probably won't do this but chopping the pecans would make it easier to cut. It didn't set up as much as I'd hoped. It baked a wee bit over an hour. How cool should it be before slicing? Regardless, it tasted omg amazing. And so easy!! I'm going to make this again for sure! Thank you!! Made for PAC Spring '12.
