I often make this for dinner during football season!! Kids and adults love these. I often serve theses with tater tots.

The kids were playing with cars and trucks so I decided to make a batch of these for a snack. I didn't have cheerios so I substituted some chopped up circus peanuts instead. I had some of these in the hall pantry from a few holidays ago and thought the kids would like them. Later the kids went out for some ball tag and requested the sandwiches again when they came in with some friends from the duplexes behind us. I needed to improvise to have enough for everyone so this time I substituted braunsweiger for the peanut butter and jelly and oleo for the honey. The kids liked these so much they tried to feed them to the tile leopard picture I have hanging in the living room. I hope to make them as directed next time if I can get my machine out of the carport to go to the market. Might even try sugaring up a grapefruit with them for a simple breakfast.
