  1. Streusal didn't crumble and I cooked the pie for 45 min at 400 and the pie was golden, but was not cooked!!!

  2. Loved the flavor of this peach pie! I thought there was perhaps a bit too much butter in the recipe (it was seeping out and the filling wasn't setting up), and I had to bake it closer to 50-55 minutes. I recommend this recipe, but only use maybe 1/3 cup butter and bake it longer.

  3. Very good pie, servered it warm with vanilla ice cream tonight for dessert, yum. Thanks will make again.

  4. I made this tonight with some fresh peaches. The flavor was good (my dh liked it) and the streusel topping was crunchy and delicious. I had no trouble with the streusel topping getting brown and the doneness of the pie at the time/temp you recommend. I did have trouble with the pie filling not thickening, it was very watery and the egg mixture was visible within the fruit. I'm not rating it due to my mistake of not adding half the streusel in the bottom as stated in step 3. I'm not sure that this would have helped though. I prefer to use cornstarch in pies to thicken the fruit
