Paul Northcott's Coca-Cola Roast Beef

"Such a delicious beef roast, just remember never ever use diet cola."

ingredients

• 5 lbs boneless bottom round roast
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 1 tablespoon chili powder
• 1 teaspoon thyme
• 1 teaspoon basil
• 1 teaspoon oregano
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon chervil
• 1 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 2 cups Coca-Cola, soft drink

directions

1. Put roast in a large roasting pan.
2. Blend seasonings together.
3. Pour Worcestershire sauce over beef and sprinkle seasonings on.
4. Pour coke along the sides of the beef.
5. Bake in a preheated oven 375°F for 30 minutes reduce temp to 300°F and continue baking for 3 hours.
6. Remove beef slice and serve.
