This is such an easy and delicious side dish. I have used fat free half and half before with great results so this doesn't have to be a high calorie dish.

Thumbs up from everyone in my family who tasted these peas. So very simple to make and takes no time at all. I used heavy cream and a parmesan blend shredded cheese. Perfect as comfort food or a nice dinner party. Thank you Heidi for posting this recipe and congratulations again for winning a bonus review in the Game Room's Spring Spectacular 2008.

  1. In a skillet or saucepan warm peas over medium heat until heated through. Add the half and half or cream and parmesan cheese until cheese has melted.
