Who doesn't like an Orange Julius? I got this from Gloria Pitzer's website, even though it is not her recipe. She says - This is probably one of the best copycat recipes of the Orange Julius secret recipes we've come across. The "secret" has got to be the cool whip as it adds that incredible creamy texture to the drink. Enjoy!
- 6 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 cup Cool Whip
- 1 cup crushed ice
- Combine all ingredients except crushed ice in blender.
- Blend for about 1-2 minutes, adding crushed ice until smooth.
Loved it! The vanilla extract really makes it taste like orange Julius. Thanks for the great posting.
This tastes just like an Orange Julius! Was quick to whip up and is very refreshing on a HOT Vegas summer day! Will be making these again! Made for Zaar Stars Tag.
Very yummy recipe. It's been so long since I had an orange julius, but I think it tastes like the real thing. It would have been a big plus if I didn't have to crush my own ice. I will make this again- lots!
