  1. For a meal, make a pan of cornbread. Cut your slice of cornbread in half and put the dip over the cornbread. Yummy!!

  2. I loved this dip and my kids couldn't stop eating it. I used corn and flour tortilla's and spread it on them and rolled it up.

  3. Easy to prepare and great taste. Baked in the oven instead of using a crockpot. I cut the recipe in half and it was plenty to serve 8 to 10 people as an appetizer. Used chips and also spread on crackers.

  4. We always have the ingredients on hand, not only for holidays, but whenever an impromtu party arises. I saute my onions in a couple of tbls of butter before adding to the mix, occasionally I add about a cup of shredded cheddar and a smidge of cream or milk to smooth the flavors when we feel a little bit like splurging. My DBIL tried to eat it as a soup during the holiday. You can also cut down on cook time by using microwave but it isn't as good. This is a can't miss dip!

  5. We have this for family get togethers. Delicious! Try using the maple flavored sausage for a different taste that is just as good.
