i always feel healthier when i make this bread!
- 1 1⁄4 cups water
- 1⁄4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 4 cups bread flour
- 2⁄3 cup quick-cooking oats
- 2 tablespoons dry milk
- 1 1⁄4 teaspoons salt
- 4 1⁄2 teaspoons yeast
- 2⁄3 cup sunflower seeds
- add all ingredients to machine in this order, except the nuts.
- select the basic cycle.
- add nuts after the beep, or before the last kneading cycle.
Nice texture, cuts well, great taste - what else do you need from a bread?! Definitely worth making again.
This was a a very tastey & moist bread! I forgot to add the sunflower kernals, but it still tasted wonderful.
