  1. Place oats in a mixing bowl and cover with the buttermilk.
  2. Wait 10-20 minutes.
  3. Add the remainder of the ingredients and mix well.
  4. Cook on medium heat, or 375 degrees if you use a griddle.

The oats give these such a moist and tender texture! They had a great flavor - I added a little bit of cinnamon just because we usually add brown sugar and cinnamon to our oatmeal, and we loved it. Thanks for sharing! L-O-V-E '12 Event

Very good pancakes that are also very healthy. I scattered a few currants in mine and used whole wheat flour. They are quick to make too, I mixed the dry ingredients while the oats were soaking and heated the griddle. Start to finish was 20 mins. Really Yummy. Made for PAC. Spring '08
