Nina's "go To" Apple Cake

"This is the "go to" recipe from my good friend Nina. It is easy and tastes unbelievably great. When you need a cake in a hurry that has a wonderful flavor this is the recipe to "go to""

• Ingredients: 11
• Yields: 1 cake
• Serves: 10-12

ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 cups vegetable oil
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 1⁄2 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 3 cups chopped apples (Granny Smith recommended)
• 1 cup walnuts

directions

1. Beat oil and sugar for 2 minutes, add eggs and vanilla and continue to beat until well mixed.
2. Add all the dry ingredients.
3. Add chopped apples and nuts.
4. Bake in greased and floured angel cake pan at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.
