I make these little guys every year at Christmas time. They are expected on both sides of my family, therefore I end up making 4 batches to cater to the demand. There wasn't a recipe like this one on here, so I figured I would share this with you. Part of the fun of making these little treasures is the cook has to make sure the amaretto is up to par... lol

I decided to make these because they sounded so different and I wanted to try a cookie recipe with Amaretto in it. I did have fun making them and I did indulge in making sure the amaretto was up to par, but I was not really that impressed with the outcome. They really did not have that much flavor and for as much Amaretto the recipe called for, it was hard to taste it in the end product. Maybe I should've added some almond extract along with the Amaretto. They were easy enough to make, but for the time involved, I think I'll try some other Amaretto recipe.
