My grandma's Sugar and Spice Cookies

"This is a recipe from my grandma. She's always had these wonderful cookies for us."

• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 3⁄4 cup soft oleo
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1⁄4 cup molasses
• 2 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 3⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves
• 3⁄4 teaspoon ground ginger

directions

1. cream oleo, sugar.
2. add egg and molasses, mix well.
3. sift, flour, soda& salt.
4. add to sugar, oleo mixture.
5. add cinnamon, cloves and ginger.
6. drop by tsp on cookie sheet.
7. bake at 350 10-12 minutes.
8. sprinkle with powdered sugar.
