- 3 drumstick fruit
- 1 medium onion
- 14.78 ml cooked dal
- 1 tomatoes
- 1 garlic clove
- 9.85 ml dry coconut powder
- 4.92 ml chili powder
- 1 green chili
- 1.23 ml turmeric powder
- salt

For seasoning
- 14.78-19.71 ml cooking oil
- 1.23 ml mustard seeds
- 1.23 ml Urad Dal
- 3 curry leaves
- 4 sprig coriander leaves
- 0.25 ml asafoetida powder
directions
- Heat the oil in the pan, add mustard seed after it splutters add urud dal till it turns a shade of brown, then add coriander and curry leaves.
- Add asafoetida, add the chopped onion and fry it till it becomes golden color, then add the chopped garlic and fry for a minute.
- Now add the tomato and cook for a few mins or till it's done. Add the drumstick/murungai kai to it and fry for few minutes.
- Add the chilli pwdr, turmeric pwdr,dal and ground coconut.
- Add salt to taste.
- Now add some water, cover the pan with a lid and let it cook in sim till the vegetable is done.
- If it becomes dry add few more tsp of water to it and check for salt.
