Mulled Cider

ingredients
- 1 quart apple cider
- 6 whole cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks (two inch)
- 1⁄4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
directions
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, simmer five minutes.
- Strain.
- Serve hot in mugs or cups.

This recipe is so simple and I bet I made it over a dozen times over the holidays! It is so nice to smell the aroma drifting through the house while it is warming on the stovetop.
