this is good with desserts, but we like it with brisket and potato pancakes
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup port wine
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 tablespoons chopped crystallized ginger
- 1 lb dried fruit
- bring first 5 ingredients to a boil.
- add fruit, simmer for 15 minutes.
- chill several hours before serving.
Oh Chia, This is SOOooo good. What a great combination of flavors. We had some of it for dessert.I am going to make potato pancakes to have with the rest of it. We have really been enjoying a lot of your recipes.
