This very simple but delicious recipe has been served every Christmas for as long as I can remember. It goes very well with ham.
- 2 lbs frozen hash browns
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- corn flakes
- Mix hashbrowns, soup, sour cream, cheese, and onions together. Place mixture in a 9 x 13" pan.
- Sprinkle with crushed cornflakes.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
