I don't usually have molasses in stock. Here's a recipe that I found on a website listing ingredient substitution.
- 1. Boil water, sugar, baking soda, and baking powder.
I couldnt use this. It smelled really bad. I thought it would thicken and be more like molasses. I am sorry but this is not good. It didnt say how long to boil it either. I boiled it, it foamed up all over my stove. I will just wait to finish the cookies later.
