  1. Cream shortening, sugar, and eggs together in bowl.
  2. Add molasses and stir.
  3. Add cinnamon, cloves, ginger & flour and stir.
  4. Add milk (with baking soda in it) and mix well.
  5. Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet.
  6. Cook for 12 - 15 minutes in 350 degree oven.
