ingredients

• 1⁄4 - 1⁄3 cup unsweetened applesauce
• 1 cup natural vanilla ice cream
• cinnamon
• sugar
• walnuts, optional

directions

1. Sprinkle apple sauce with cinnamon and sugar.
2. Microwave on high for 30-45 seconds.
3. Spoon ice cream into center.
4. Sprinkle with walnuts.
5. Serve immediately.

What a great idea!! I would have never thought before reading this about a hot/cold combo as above. I used cinnamon and nutmeg on the applesauce and probably closer to 1/2 cup.
