This is a sauce you can use on enchiladas, smothered burritos, etc. It is very good. I have seen similar ones here but they don't use the cumin. I love this sauce and use it on all Mexican dishes.

  1. Combine the flour with the spices in a small bowl. Add enough of the water until it reaches a thin paste consistency. Place the mixture into a medium saucepan. Add the remaining water.
  2. Once mixture starts to thicken you should add the tomato sauce. Simmer about 20 minutes.
