  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Mix all the ingredients together.
  • Grease a muffin pan and lightly coat with flour.
  • Pour the batter into the pan.
  • Cook the muffins for 20 minutes.

  2. I'm not sure how the other commenter could say there is "no leavening" in this, when like all the other mayonnaise biscuits here, this calls for self-rising flour.
     
  3. There are several other recipes like this on Recipezaar- they use self-rising flour. Without any leavening I don't see how these couldn't come out as hockey pucks. See recipe #43585 or #91092.
     
  4. I made this recipe twice.Thought I had done something wrong the first time.These biscuits came out BOTH times like hockey pucks.With the 5* rating I thought wow,a winner! I threw both batches in the garbage.Oh, (no way), stated in (4) pour batter into the pan.This batter does not pour.I wonder if the 3/4 cup milk could be wrong.But Darlene said the biscuits were good.:0(
