    These are so good that it is hard to stop eating these.I also like to make these with pecans. Would be a great addition to a salad.

      Preheat a dry skillet over a medium-high heat. Add the walnuts, maple syrup and salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until syrup is caramelized and nuts are toasted, about 3 minutes. Let cool.

      These nuts are so good! I had a hard time getting them dry enough without burning them during the time in the skillet; they were a little sticky after the 3 minutes so after they had cooled I popped them in the oven at 275 degrees for about 25 minutes - perfect! The maple flavor with the walnuts and a little salt was just delightful - thanks for sharing the recipe!

      Oooooh, so quick and easy and yummy! I made this and ate it as is, then used some for a cranberry walnut slaw! I threw in some pecans too. Thanks cookie! Made for ZWT4-Fancy Feinschmeckers!

      These are delicious! Just sweet enough with a nice maple flavor. They dried nicely and were not sticky at all for me, once they cooled. I'll make these again and try adding a bit of cinnamon or ginger next time. Thanks for the easy and great tasting recipe.
