  • 1 fluid ounce dark rum
  • 1 fluid ounce amaretto liqueur
  • 3 fluid ounces orange juice
  • 3 fluid ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 dash grenadine

directions

  • Fill a 12 ounce glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour in rum and amaretto.
  • Fill remainder of glass with half orange juice and half pineapple juice.
  • Add a splash of grenadine for color.

  4. This was just a tad too much pineapple juice for me, but the solution is a little more OJ, a little less pineapple juice, and still a delicious drink. I didn't have dark rum, so I just used regular. Thanks, June, for a really wonderful new drink.
     
  5. oh yes, it makes us feel happy :D It's an easy Mai Tai to do for some of us (like me) who doesn't have orgeat syrup :) I omitted the grenadine. Yummy! Very potent :) Perfect for a Friday night. Thanks Juenessa :) Made for Holiday tag.
