directions

  • Add the coffee to the cold water and let it sit for a while, around 5 minutes (because theres no heat to transfer the flavour to the water, it needs time to mix).
  • Add the milk, sweetener, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the coffee and stir.
  • Add ice cubes before serving. Pour into a tall glass. Enjoy.

  1. Such a great recipe! Will definitely make this again and again. Thank you so much for sharing!

  2. A great pick-me-up today while I was doing some gardening. I used espresso powder and fat-free half-and-half, and replaced the Splenda and vanilla with sugar-free raspberry syrup, but kept the cinnamon. Nice, smooth flavors. And I like not having to pour HOT coffee over ice and wait for it to cool. Made for Spring 2008 PAC.

  3. Loved this, instead of pouring over ice I blended the whole recipe with the ice and ended up ith a wonderful, coffee flavored smoothie that was low-cal and full of flavor. Will have this again whenever I feel like pampering myself. Thanks Ima-Chan for a really nice drink recipe that is easy to make.

  4. This was a nice refreshing drink for after dinner on a really hot day. I found the coffee flavour a bit too strong so I may sub in chilled brewed coffee next time. I loved the idea of this though. When I was about halfway done, I added a spoonful of chocolate milk mix which gave it a nice mocha flavour. Mmm. I could see experimenting with other extracts too. Thanks for posting!

  5. I couldn't resist trying this and made it the MOMENT I saw it posted in the PAC (Fall) '07 thread! I used FF half and half, and topped with a teaspoon of Hershey's Lite chocolate syrup. I really enjoyed it and it will be a regular in our mornings. However, in the future I would definitely use cold brewed coffee rather than the instant, and I might use a SF hazelnut creamer! YUM! Thanks so much for a treat I can use every day!

  2. Yummy, made this twice. Firstly for Hubby with tne coffee and then substituted the coffee for chocolate for Little Miss (DD) they both really enjoyed it. Hubby said that he preferred the flavours with chocolate. Thank you Ima-chan
