A tasty, yet lower calorie version of my favorite. Thank you Melba Cook!

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
  2. Cream margarine and sugar together.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
  4. Sift dry ingredients together.
  5. Add bananas and dry ingredients alternately into egg mixture.
  6. Stir in chopped nuts.
  7. Pour into greased or lined loaf pans.
  8. Bake 20-30 minutes in small pans, 40-60 minutes in large pan until knife comes out clean.
