I was making a lovely Indian banquet for friends and a colleague at work suggested I make this accompaniment to go with it. Everyone loved these little banana treats with their curry, went down really well. Remember to refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

- Slice the bananas and put the juice of the limes in a bowl. Add the bananas and toss until coated with the juice. Put 1 cup of desiccated coconut in a shallow bowl and add half the bananas and toss until completely coated with the coconut then transfer to a serving bowl. Repeat with the remaining banana.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
