Cook Time:
Scented yoghurt drink from India. Great served with curries. Very smooth and refreshing in a hot climate.
It has a very cooling effect on the mouth.
You can make mango lhassi by blending in mango pieces with the yogurt or try it with different fruits or spices.
Directions:
1
Put all the ingredients except ice into the blender and blend smooth. (If it's too thick add a bit of water until it's the consistency you want.).
2
Serve very cold over ice.
Ratings & Reviews:
Delicious and refreshing. I only made enough for one serving and was wishing I had made lots more, it was so tasty. I took the recipe poster's suggestion and added some fresh mango to mine and it was delicious. The rose water is the secret ingredient - it adds such a nice aroma and light taste.

I enjoyed the addition of the cinnamon and cardamon to what otherwise is my standard lassi recipe. It really is a very nice touch.

Not that there's anything wrong with the recipe but I'd never tried cardamom and I guess I'm not that fond of it. Gotta try something new though!
