Lemon-Dill Chicken Patties with Orzo

This is a simple and elegant dish that starts with ground chicken. Lemon and dill make it light and fresh! This came out of a Woman's Day magazine.

Loved the fresh combo of lemon and dill and used Recipe #39350 to lower calories and fat. Love these patties served on the orzo for a light summer supper. Served with a side of Recipe #344305 with fresh made Recipe #301695. Thanks for posting Sharon. Made for When It's Hot Tag Game.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Cook orzo in lightly salted water as package directs.
  2. Drain; return to pot.
  3. Add remaining orzo ingredients; toss to mix.
  4. Cover to keep warm.
  5. While orzo cooks, mix Patties ingredients except chicken.
  6. Add chicken; mix well.
  7. Form into sixteen 1/2-inch thick patties.
  8. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet.
  9. Add patties; cook over medium heat, turning once, about 5 minutes, until opaque in center.
  10. Serve with orzo.
  11. Serves 4.
