  1. A Messy Cook, I wasn't sure I was going to like this marinade because of the vinegar. The vinegar was almost too much for me but a really interesting thing happen while the lamb was cooking in my Kitchen Aid cast iron enamel pot with the basting lid 4 hrs. later at 325 in my convection oven {we are in Northern Canada very, very cold so when it's cold my oven takes longer to cook if the temp in the oven is high it will burn go figure!} the vinegar smell just changed to something wonderful. The rest is history a fabulous lamb meal! Will make again. Thanks for posting
