Kathy's Shortbread

"I got this recipe...after much coaxing from a dear sweet friend in Alaska. Her mother made it at Christmas and she made it for us weary travelers when we stayed with her and her family on our vacation. It was a HUGE hit with my family!! We begged for the recipe and we stunned to discover how simple the ingredients were…don’t get me wrong, it is a heart attack waiting to happen but what a way to go! It is simple in it's taste yet delish! The instructions seem a little odd but they workout fine."

I live in the upstate of South Carolina but am originally from the coast of Mississippi. I love the area I now live in...so beautiful! I have 5 dogs, two cats, one husband and one son! I love to travel but with all these animals it is not possible any more. My favorite places I have been to are Alaska and Bermuda. But I love just driving up to my in-laws in North Carolina and enjoying that beautiful state!
