Kale Hummus

ingredients
- 4 cups kale
- 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, rinsed
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup or 2 tablespoons honey
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
- 5 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (optional)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon smoked paprika
directions
- Trim all tough stems from kale and roughly chop.
- Place the kale in a food processor or blender and pulse until pureed.
- Add the remaining ingredients through hot sauce if used and blend, reserving 1 tbsp olive oil for dressing the finished hummus.
- Dust with paprika if desired and serve with chips.
