Jim's Microwave Scrambled Eggs

A recipe I received from a friend of mine who did a little experimenting on making scrambled eggs in the microwave. Ended up being a really good recipe


  1. Beat eggs well.
  2. Add milk, salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in diced onion.
  4. Place in microwave save dish and cook on high for 2 minutes.
  5. Stop and stir.
  6. Cook 1 1/2-2 minutes longer on high.

Great way to cook eggs in a hurry. I used skin milk and did 2 eggs for 35 seconds each round. *Make sure to use a bowl/dish large enough to handle the eggs expanding about 50% in size during the cooking process!

Instead of milk, I used a tablespoon of butter (I eat low carb, so my diet allows me to stay thin even while enjoying butter). It made the eggs very tasty. I eat eggs almost every day and am so happy to have a delicious way to cook them without a pan! Thanks!

Nice and fluffy. Only thing I did different was cook them the first half on 80% power and the second half on 60%. Great for when the grandkids are over and I need something quick and easy. Thanks for sharing.
