Try this on your favorite chocolate brownies. You can use Kahlua or creme de menthe instead of Jack Daniel's. Makes enough to frost a 9 x 13-inch pan of brownies.

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. In the top of a double boiler over hot water, melt the chocolate with the butter.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in bowl and with electric mixer, beat in melted chocolate and butter. Beat until smooth.
  3. Mixture will be runny, but stiffens as it cools.
  4. Use to frost cooled brownies.

Wow! This is delicious. I used on brownies as recommended and they were to die for. I am thinking Bailey's would also be many possibilities. Thanks for the recipe. Made for PRMR.

This is excellent! I used Kahlua and made cupcakes. It was so good, nice and creamy and very rich. We were all reaching for a glass of milk with these. I will be making this again using Jack Daniels next time too. Thanks so much for this great idea. Made and Reviewed for PRMR - Thanks! :)

GREAT frosting ! I added an extra tablespoon Jack Daniels. Used the frosting for a cake. The frosting did wonders after chillling, tried a piece before chilling too. I recommend chilling it. It has better flavor. Great variations on this. Will make again. Made for 1-2-3 hit wonders.
