Italian Macaroni Salad
"A really good, really easy pasta salad. An excellent sub for potato salad. From an old clipping file - probably Better Homes and Gardens."

ingredients
- 4 ounces dry pasta (small macaroni, shell, etc)
- 1⁄4 cup Italian salad dressing
- 1 cup cream-style cottage cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1⁄2 cup celery, diced
- 1⁄4 cup green pepper, diced
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon green onion, sliced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well.
- While still hot, toss with Italian dressing; let stand 30 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients and chill.
- Cooking time does not include chill time.

My mother gave me the premium membership as a gift, and I couldn't be happier. <br /><br />I have some same ole, same ole recipes that you make when you have no time for inspiration, but I truly enjoy cooking new and different - so I rarely make the same thing twice. If you are invited to my home for dinner more than likely I have found a never tried recipe from Zarr and you are my Ginuea Pig.
