  1. Well, hard as I tried, I couldn't screw up this recipe! I got busy and didn't put together the marinade before I left for work. It started raining in the afternoon so no grilling for us. And I couldn't find my skewers. Turns out, you can't ruin this recipe! I only marinaded for about 30 minutes and grilled it on my cast iron grill pan thingie. Delicious! I cut the amount of peppers in half out of fear, but next time I think I will make just as written. The most surprising thing for me, what that it actually reminded me of barbecue sauce. I think it would be fabulous served on pulled pork sandwiches. Thanks so much for sharing, MarraMamba!

  2. DH loved this chicken. I used it in Recipe #61897 for the chicken. Lots of marinade leftover so will have this again soon.

  3. Great Tasting !!! I did leave out the salt though, I did marinate these overnight with great results. May cut back on the lime juice next time, but will definate keep this one. Made for ZAAR STARS.

  4. We loved this even though I forgot to use the extra marinade for basting LOL. I marinaded them for about 6 hours. The chicken was juicy and tender and full of flavour. Next time we will add a little less soya sauce and a bit more chipotle. I cut back on the olive oil alot. Made for Everyday is a Hoilday Tag and a keeper for us.

  5. We found this to be ok, but felt like it needed something else to go with it. I had to cut back on the chipolte because DH is sensitive to hot spicy foods, I added a little cilantro for some spice w/o heat. I also added garlic granules to the marinade. I didn't care for the flavor of the marinade on it's own so we didn't have anything to dip the chicken into later and ended up using some BBQ sauce. I marinated the meat for 5 hrs plus used the marinade cycle 3 times with my Food Saver, so the meat really tasted of the marinade. Thanks for sharing your recipe, made for ZWT 5 for the Cooks With Dirty Faces.

I have chronic medication resistant depression after 10 years on anti depressants that worked well but would stop working after a year or two, so now do my best at home living on disabilty. Not a bad thing, many have far worse health issues but i have been able to concentrate on food/cooking. My main passions are my cats. I live in the woods and somehow many starving strays or "dumps" have found the message babies who passed on left in the woods saying "suck lives at xxxx road. Most arrive sick and/or starving. Right now i have 2 that arrived with feline herpes and their attendant 2ndry bacterial infections but are doing beautifully. One old man who was going to be euthanized bc a lady who found him as a stray was moving and didnt want him...well he was a biter and rather grumpy who was in ICU for 3 days with a deadly gut infection which was fixed but he left with a diagnosis of diabetes. 3 months on insulin and finally diet controlled and he caught the herpes virus, respiratory symptom version and turned into a cuddler. Sadly Butterscotch died of Lymphatic cancer in winter of 2008. A year before Big Boy arrived in my life, starving and weak. Full of affection he jumped into my arms and stayed, turns out he has FIV (cat hiv) so he needs to be watched closely.
