Oh my gosh, this was, by far, the very BEST fudge I have ever made (or tasted). The mix of the two different chocolate chips and the addition of the Irish Cream made for a delectably chocolately fudge taste. And the texture is so smooth and creamy and not dense like some of the richer fudge recipes I've tried. It makes quite a large batch, so it will come in handy at Christmastime when I have so many treat boxes to fill. But I would consider making a smaller batch(which I'm sure will still give me a decent sized platter of fudge) when I need something to make for bake sales or for enjoying at home. Thanks for sharing your recipe, lazyme. It's truly a "keeper" for me.

"Fantastic fudge" and other rave reviews is all I heard when I used 2 cups of chopped pecans, 24 oz. of Semisweet Morsels and 12 oz. of Nestle's Dark Chocolate Chips instead of as in the original recipe. (Note: I had to use two ounces of dark chocolate chips from another 10 oz. bag since that's how Nestle's sells them nowadays.) Ease in making, color, appearance, consistency, no fuss setting & cutting, and TASTE were perfect!

I used this recipe to make fudge for a Cookie exchange with my girlfriends. Unfortunately, I misread the recipe and only used one jar of marshmallow cream instead of two so my fudge came out too soft. I don't know if it was the cream or if maybe I didn't cook it long enough.

Regardless, this recipe taste fantastic which is why I still gave it 5 stars. This recipe, when done right, is perfect for Christmas! I will be recycling the mixture in the morning to make brownies though ;-) hope the girls will like!.
