  • Preheat oven to 350*. In a bowl, mix water, pumpkin, vanilla and egg thoroughly. Combine flour, raisins, pecans, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a seperate bowl, stirring well. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well, making sure no dry mixture is left. Spoon into a greased muffin tin, filling each cup completely. Sprinkle the tops of each muffin with oats and bake for 1 1/4 hours. Cool completely and store in a sealed container.

  1. IMPORTANT: Grapes are poisonous to dogs. I would not include raisins in any dog food/treat recipe.
     
  2. Raisins are highly toxic to dogs and can be fatal. The Three Dog Bakery should know better. I'm sure these treats will be just as good (and better for your dog) without the raisins. :)

I love cooking, and reading Christian fiction..I have 5 grandchildren..4 boys and 1 spoiled granddaughter...I also have a black cocker spaniel named Tobey..who is very spoiled..Love computer games, cross stitch and reading cookbooks..I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia almost a year ago, on September 26, 2005....was in an out of the hospital for 8 months, doing intensive chemo...I am doing well now, thanks for all the prayers...
