My friend Fluer and I made this at their house one time. We were trying to invent a pudding, but this was all the ingredients we could find, so we had to make do.

 1. Gently heat the custard over a low heat.
 2. While that's heating, peel the bananas and chop up.
 3. Pour the custard equally into the pudding bowls.
 4. Place banana on top.
 5. Serve immediately.

The recipe didn't mention that you had to peal the bananas first. I thought id try this tricky recipe to impress a lady, a sure fire aphrodisiac one thought.

Whilst she delighted in the creamy texture of the custard, seductively letting a little slip from her mouth and trickle down her chin, the banana peal slightly ruined the moment. Thanks Pixie!

I made my custard with Bird's custard powder and put some of the bananas in the bowl first, then poured some custard over them and then added a few more slices of chopped banana! A great British classic and one that I enjoyed after lunch today, a little treat! Thanks Perfect Pixie! Made for Livestrong in the Photos forum. FT:-)
