Hot Bacon Salad Dressing

"This is an old standby! Terrific on spinach salads"

• Ingredients: 9
• Yields: 1 1/2 cups

ingredients

• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon cornstarch
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 large eggs, beaten
• 1⁄2 cup cider vinegar
• 1⁄2 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon mustard powder
• 1⁄2 lb bacon
• 1 teaspoon bacon drippings

directions

1. Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch and mustard powder in a blender.add beaten egg and mix.
2. Add milk and vinegar.
3. Pour into a pan and cook till thick --
4. Fry bacon and crumble and add to dressing.
5. May add a little of bacon grease to thin.
6. Very good on spinach or salads.
7. Serve warm.
