  1. I make these all the time (I still have my book from the 80s). Everyone loves them. I sprinkle powdered sugar on top so they don't stick together in storage.

  2. Pretty good simple cookie. I used buckwheat honey

  3. Nice, simple cookie. DS really enjoyed them. I made as stated and did find that I had to bake them 11-12 minutes or the middle of the cookie was still raw. Also, when taking them off the cookie tray, they smoosh a little since they are such a soft cookie.

  4. I had some honey to use up so, I made these delicious cookies to add to my Christmas cookie tray this year. They were gone pretty fast! Adults and kids alike loved them. I made the honey-cinnamon cookie version. These are soft cookies, that some guests thought were a different version of snickerdoodles. But, they detected the light honey taste and asked what they were, asking for the recipe, as well. These were so easy that I will be making these throughout the year to have with my coffee and share with friends. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!

<p>I'm a journalism and French major at the University of Georgia who discovered the joy of cooking a couple of years ago. I spend my summer vacations making dinner almost every night for my family, which includes my two younger sisters (11 and 14), and leap at the opportunity to cook every time I go home for a weekend visit...unfortunately, cooking in the dorms is more trouble than it's worth! <br /> <br /><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/projects/chef3.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com" /><a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"> <br /> <br /><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/beartag_1_1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting" /> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/adopted_1_1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting" /> <br /> <br /><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/projects/pacbanner.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket" /> <br /><img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/projects/200_PACpic.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket" /></a></p>
