This is a recipe that I use in my cafe
- 8 ounces aged balsamic vinegar
- 6 ounces honey
- 2 tablespoons cracked black pepper
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 16 ounces safflower oil
- Place all ingredients except for oil in large container.
- Place immersion blender in container and blend. Slowly add oil blending ingredients to create emulsification. Place in container, label, date and refrigerate.
This is a keeper! Except that it does not need anywhere near that much salt.
Really good, a nice alternative to the usual garlic based balsamic dressings. I, too, cut the recipe in half for the 2 of us and it was delicious.
