Homemade Soft Taco Shells

"Delicious corn tortilla shells for tacos. White corn works best, but either can be used! These are a mild flavored shell that lets the flavor of your other ingredients shine."

directions

  • Combine all ingredients and beat until smooth.
  • Fry slowly on a griddle or in large frypan in small amounts of cooking oil. Using a ladle, pour and swirl into a desired size circle. Let fry until the top is dry, then flip for a minute or so to set the other side. If they turn out like crepes, make the shells thicker.
  • Fill with your favorite ingredients. We use seasoned hamburger, tomato, onion, lettuce, cheese, green peppers, olives.
