Holiday Nut Rolls

"This was an old Yugoslavian recipe that my mom found in one of her old cookbooks, she made it one year and we all loved it. It is one of my favorite things to bake, although it does take a little bit of effort to make but it is so worth it."

I live about an hour west from St. Louis out in the country. I love it here it's so peaceful and serene. I tend to spend most of my free time reading, watching movies or tv. I like to watch Food Network shows too, mostly Pioneer Woman, Trisha Yearwood, Ina Garten, and many others. I love cooking for family and friends. I'm always asked to bring a dish to a potluck or dinner. My specialty is baking and making desserts. Recently, I've been looking for recipes for homemade remedies and soaps, and also homemade gifts in a jar to give as presents. I've never tried doing anything like that and I think it would be fun and interesting to do.?
