Holiday Merry-Mint Milkshake (By Bird)

"The perfect milkshake for the holidays. The candy cane ornament served in the glass truly compliments the green-colored sugar, chocolate sprinkles, and red cherry over the whipped cream for a dazzling effect. I had visions of lovebirds while I created this treat which is a combination chocolate chip mint/Cookies-n-cream milkshake (but for a title, was way too long, lol). Feel free to use low-fat/fat-free ingredients as this is definitely not dieter friendly (although it's great to enjoy before you begin your resolutions in the coming year). Amounts are adjustable to your liking."

  1. Made this for my other half since he likes mint (& I don't), but the Baileys was omitted, & I made half a recipe! It was much enjoyed, even though non-alcoholic, & I've been asked to keep the recipe around, so . . . Thanks for sharing it! [Tagged & made in Please Review My Recipe]

  2. This is so so good. Definitely made for two as it's a rich tasting shake. I used skim milk and 1/2 fat vanilla icecream. I also used the Winter Edition of Oreos' which were red in the middle. The green sprinkles were a nice touch of color. Really minty and chocolatey good. I did share with DH who actually had more than his 1/2. Made for TYM tag.

  3. This was an excellent treat! I used skim milk, low fat ice cream, and dark chocolate chips for the skae part to lighten it up (and I def. did not skip the Baileys!!!). For the topping I usd lite cool whip instead of cream with excellent results. But I am not so sure about snuggling up with someone with this drink, I it all to myself! haha
