  • 907.18 g ground beef
  • 4.92 ml salt
  • 473.18 ml chopped celery
  • 118.29 ml chopped onion
  • 59.14 ml chopped green pepper
  • 118.29 ml slivered almonds
  • 113.39 g can sliced mushrooms
  • 333.10 g can cream of mushroom soup
  • 59.14 ml soy sauce
  • 118.29 ml water
  • 226.79 g package noodles, cooked according to pkg directions
  • 236.59 ml sour cream

  • Brown ground beef.
  • Add salt, celery, green pepper, onion, mushrooms with liquid, mushroom soup, soy sauce and water.
  • Cover tightly and simmer until vegetables are tender.
  • Combine cooked noodles and sour cream with meat mixture.
  • Put in greased 2 1/2 quart casserole.
  • 9" x 13" dish is just the right size.
  • Top with almonds.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

  1. This tasted very good. It was a bit more watery than I thought it would be--almost like it needed something to bind it. Next time I will add cheese, I think. But I will make this again--it was easy, and everyone liked it. Thanks for the recipe. :)
