This recipe was from our old church cookbook. It is simple but satisfying.
- 3 quarts green beans
- 1 medium potato
- 2 -3 tablespoons dill or 3 sprigs fresh dill
- 1 small onion
- salt and pepper
- water, enough to cover potatoes and beans
- bacon or ham, pieces
- Add all ingredients to an 8 quart pan and simmer until potatoes are tender.
