This recipe comes from my family's background. I believe it started with my grandma who was from England.

This is a good dish, however not as flavorful as I expected. This could have been the mushrooms or the fact I used fat free sour cream. I will make it again using fresher mushrooms and the real sour cream. Thanks Shirl for sharing this recipe.
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 lb fresh mushrooms, washed and sliced
- 1 (10 ounce) carton sour cream
- 1 teaspoon dill
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper, to taste
